The Best Stores for Denim & Workwear
EXPRESS
EXPRESS is one of my favorite stores. I love shopping here because the brand consistently delivers high-quality pieces. I really enjoy their skinny, bootcut, and straight-leg jeans. The skinny jeans accentuate my shape beautifully without ever feeling restrictive.
The straight-leg and bootcut jeans are just as versatile. They have the perfect leg opening-not too wide, not too narrow-which makes them easy to pair with sweaters and leather ankle boots. They also look great with sneakers for a more relaxed vibe. Another reason I love EXPRESS denim is the quality. When I run my hands over the fabric, I can feel the thick, durable cotton. Their jeans are made to last. EXPRESS is also my go-to store for workwear. They offer dress pants in assorted colors, V-cut blouses, and polished pieces that make getting ready for the office effortless. Anytime I need something stylish and professional, EXPRESS always delivers.
Aeropostale
Aeropostle is another store I love to shop at. I go here for blue jeans, T-shirts, undergarments, denim jackets to pair with my jeans, accessories, summer attire, and more. One of my denim FAVES is AERO High-Rise.Their denim is made with high-quality material that lasts for years-the color doesn’t fade, and the fabric holds up beautifully over time. I have this style in both a light wash and dark wash, and I love them equally.
Another FAVE is the AERO T-shirts. I love these tees because Aeropostale always creates unique designs. The tops are comfortable, stylish, and pair perfectly with denim and sneakers. I have AERO T-shirts in so many colors because they’re easy to wear and always look cute.
I also enjoy shopping at Aeropostale when they’re having a sale. That’s when I find all of my FAVES at amazing prices. I usually leave the store with shopping bags full of goodies. Aeropostale will always be one of my go-to stores.
Old Navy
Old Navy is another FAVE of mine. I love shopping at this store for denim, tops, jackets, and accessories. Two of my denim FAVES are the Rockstar and WOW Super-Skinny High-Rise jeans. These styles fit my body so well-they’re comfortable, flattering, and always look stylish with Old Navy’s T-shirts and classic denim jackets.
I especially enjoy shopping at Old Navy when they’re having a sale. During the summer season of 2025, I found tops marked down to $12.00 and denim for $22.00. I left the store with bags full of jeans and tops because the deals were too good to pass up. Old Navy will always be my go-to store for Rockstar and WOW Super-Skinny denim. The fit, the comfort, and the affordability make these jeans a permanent staple in my wardrobe.
My Go-To Brands for Shoes
NIKE AIRFORCE 1
One of my ultimate shoe FAVES is the NIKE AIRFORCE 1. These sneakers are incredibly comfortable—everytime I wear them, it feels like I’m walking on a cloud. I love the thick rubber sole and the way the shoe supports my feet throughout the day. I also enjoy buying them in fun color combinations like the pink and lime green or blue and white.
NIKE AIRFORCE 1s are my go-to sneakers whenever I want to dress down. They pair perfectly with skinny jeans, T-shirts, leggings, and crop tops. I’ve been wearing this brand for years, and these sneakers will always be a staple in my closet.
Clarks Bostonian
I love their leather ankle boots because they’re stylish, versatile, and pair beautifully with skinny, bootcut, and straight-leg denim.They also elevate my formal looks-wearing a black blazer, a ruched skirt, and a cami with these boots creates the perfect ensemble. Another reason I love Clarks ankle boots is the heel height. It’s not too tall, so my body always feels balanced and comfortable when I walk. Clarks will forever be my go-to brand for leather ankle boots.
Handbags & Makeup
Coach & Kenneth Cole:Coach is one of my handbag FAVES. I love the design and craftsmanship of this brand. The signature “C” detailing makes each bag stand out, giving it that timeless, recognizable look. Coach handbags also have incredible longevity-I have one that has lasted me 12 years and still looks amazing. The high-quality materials make these bags durable, versatile, and perfect for everyday use. I carry my Coach bags for so many occasions-work, errands, and everything in between. They’re spacious enough to haul all my essentials, which is another reason they remain a staple in my collection.
Another handbag FAVE is Kenneth Cole. Their bags are durable, versatile and stylish. I have a Kenneth Cole Reaction black leather double-strap handbag that has lasted me for years, just like my Coach bag. I use it often for work because it has multiple compartments that keep my essentials organized and easy to reach. Both Coach and Kenneth Cole offer the perfect blend of style, durability, and practicality. These brands will always be my go-tos for handbags that can keep up with my busy lifestyle.
MAC, bareMinerals, & NARS:One of my makeup FAVES is MAC. I love this brand for its rich pigmentation and long-lasting formulas. My favorite products from MAC are the Lipmix, the clear lip gloss, and the lip pencil. When I apply the Lipmix, MAC’s clear lip gloss is another FAVE because it gives my lips a beautiful shine. I love the thickness of the gloss, and I often layer it over the Lipmix for an extra pop. MAC will always be my go-to brand whenever I want a highly pigmented, bold makeup look.
Another cosmetic FAVE is bareMinerals. This is my go-to brand for natural makeup. I love the bareMinerals Golden Dark Foundation because it gives my skin a smooth, natural finish. I never experience blemishes or dark spots from using it, and I love the healthy glow it adds to my complexion. bareMinerals will always be my choice when I want a soft, natural look.
The next makeup FAVE is NARS. This is my go-to brand for the iconic NARS Laguna bronzer powder. I love this product because it makes my skin feel soft and gives me a subtle glow. The formula is lightweight, and it doesn’t take much product to achieve the perfect effect. NARS will always have a place in my makeup routine for effortless, sun kissed finish.
