I reached out to the fabulous NARS makeup department at Bloomingdale’s and had a delightful chat with a super friendly employee! I eagerly shared my wish to book a makeover appointment, and the sales associate quickly jotted down my name. We set the glam clock to 1:00 PM for my rendezvous with a talented makeup artist—let the beauty magic begin!

NARS Appointment: Your Glamorous Arrival at Bloomingdale’s!

I arrived at Bloomingdale’s on the lively 900 N. Michigan in Chicago, Illinois, excited to dive into the world of glamour at the NARS makeup department. Approaching with a sparkle in my eye, I greeted the fabulous makeup artist with a friendly “Hi, I’m Aisha, ready for my beauty transformation!” She beamed back, her smile lighting up the room, and replied, “I’m Maria!”

I plopped down in the chair, and with a flick of her wrist, she draped me in a sleek black cover. “Oily or dry skin?” she quizzed, her eyes sparkling with mischief. I grinned and replied, “Mostly dry!” She leaned in and asked, “Ready for that full coverage glam?” With a playful nod, I declared, “Absolutely—let’s go all out!”

First, she slathered a luscious oil on my face, enthusiastically recommending a morning and night routine for my oily skin. Next, she whipped out a fabulous primer to keep my makeup locked in all day, before playfully swatching different foundation shades on my skin to find my perfect match!

Maria worked her magic on my face, giving me perfectly arched eyebrows and a flawless finish with NARS Radiant Longwear foundation. She playfully painted my eyelids and worked her wand with mascara on my lashes, then coated my lips with the fabulous NARS Air Matte Lip color.
